Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 12, 2026
This policy explains what information Pennsylvania Leak Detection (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit pennsylvanialeakdetection.com or call us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
Who we are
Pennsylvania Leak Detection is a leak detection referral service for Pennsylvania homeowners and property owners. When you call (833) 768-3032, we connect you with an independent local leak detection professional. We do not sell products on this site, and the site has no accounts, logins or online payments.
Information we collect
When you call us
- Your phone number and caller ID name, if your carrier provides it
- The date, time, length and outcome of the call, and which page or number you called from
- Details you choose to tell us, such as your name, address or ZIP code, and what you are seeing at the property
- Calls may be recorded for quality, training and to route your call correctly. Where the law requires it, you will be told at the start of the call, and you can ask not to be recorded.
When you browse the site
- Standard technical information your browser sends, such as IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view and the page that referred you. Our web host and WordPress keep this in server logs for security and troubleshooting.
- Cookies that WordPress and our hosting set so the site works. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
- This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google servers and shares your IP address with Google when a page loads.
We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, or health information. Please do not share it on a call.
How we use information
- To answer your call, understand the problem and connect you with a local leak detection professional
- To schedule, confirm or follow up on a service visit you asked for
- To track which pages and phone numbers bring in calls, so we can improve the site
- To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and spam calls, and fix technical problems
- To meet legal, tax and record-keeping obligations
We do not send marketing text messages or make marketing calls to you unless you ask us to. If you do and later change your mind, tell us and we will stop.
Who we share information with
- The independent service provider who handles your job. They receive the details needed to contact you and do the work, such as your name, phone number, address and description of the problem. They are separate businesses with their own privacy practices.
- Service vendors that run the site and phone system for us, such as our web host, our call tracking and call routing provider, and our phone carrier. They may only use the information to provide their services to us.
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, a court order or a valid government request, or to protect people, property or our rights.
- A business transfer, if the site or business is sold or merged, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information transferred.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep information
We keep call records and recordings only as long as we need them for the purposes above, for resolving disputes and for legal or accounting requirements, and then delete them. Server logs are kept for a limited period set by our host.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, such as HTTPS encryption on this site and restricted access to call records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
- Ask what personal information we have about you
- Ask us to correct it or delete it, unless we must keep it for legal reasons
- Ask us not to record a call, or not to contact you again
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
To make a request, call (833) 768-3032 and tell us what you need. We may ask you to confirm details so we can verify the request is yours. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s law, and we will honor them as required.
Links to other websites
Our pages link to outside sources such as water utilities, government agencies and news sites. We do not control those sites, and this policy does not cover them. Please read their privacy policies.
Children
This site is meant for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, call us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be posted on this page.
